Data Analyst

Torch TechnologiesTorch Technologies is seeking an intermediate level Tracking, Filtering, EO/IR Data Analyst. The ideal candidate will have experience/expertise with electro-optical and infrared data analysis (EO/IR), image processing, and uncertainty analysis. The Data Analyst will be responsible for the analysis, interpretation, and algorithm development to support data reduction from customer test events. A well-suited candidate will be self-motivated, with demonstrated communication skills (oral and written) and capable of working both in a small team and unsupervised.As an EO/IR Data Analyst your duties will include the following, but are not limited to:Analyze EO/IR sensor data, including target detection, tracking, filtering, and signature analysis.Perform sensor data fusion and uncertainty analysis.Support multi-spectral sensor calibration and characterization.Analyze algorithms and their interaction to improve performance.Interpret data, identifying trends, and analyze results using statistical techniques.Required Qualifications:U.S. CitizenshipBachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or similar) or equivalent experience AND 5+ years of experience in EO/IR data analysis, image processing, and statistical analysis.
