A respected community healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead and oversee key HR functions while helping build a supportive, high-performing workplace culture.

This role is ideal for a hands-on HR leader who enjoys partnering with leadership, supporting employees, and ensuring compliance while helping an organization grow and thrive. You will play a critical role in shaping HR programs, supporting managers, and strengthening the employee experience across the organization.

What You’ll Do

As the Human Resources Manager , you will guide and manage the organization’s HR programs and services while ensuring compliance and supporting employees at all levels.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead and manage Human Resources operations, programs, and policies
• Oversee recruiting, benefits, compensation, and performance management processes
• Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on employee relations and HR best practices
• Conduct workplace investigations and resolve employee relations concerns
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
• Oversee Workers’ Compensation administration and safety initiatives
• Support HR policy development and process improvement
• Manage employee training and compliance programs
• Maintain accurate personnel records and HR systems
• Review exit interviews and identify retention improvement opportunities
• Support employee wellness, engagement, and culture initiatives

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
• 5+ years of Human Resources management experience - in Healthcare, FQHC's or Nonprofit organizations.
• Strong knowledge of HR compliance, employment law, and employee relations
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to build relationships across departments and leadership teams
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR systems

Preferred Experience

• Healthcare or community health organization experience
• Experience supporting multi-department or multi-site teams
• Benefits administration and COBRA knowledge
• Experience leading HR investigations and compliance initiatives
