Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age
• 4+ years of Line Cook experience preferred
• Be a multitask master in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to recreate recipes per The Sicilian Butcher standards
• Knowledgeable about food safety standards and restaurant cleanliness
• Willing to go the extra mile to create the ultimate guest experience
• Knowledgeable about the menu and the varying products we carry
• Must have a current food handlers card or be able to obtain one
• Must have experience, a positive attitude, be punctual, and be a team player
• High school diploma: A higher degree in hospitality or a relevant field will be a plus

A Day in The Life

• As a Line Cook at The Sicilian Butcher, you’ll be at the heart of our kitchen, bringing bold flavors and scratch-made dishes to life during every service. You’ll work side by side with a passionate culinary team to execute plates with precision, consistency, and pride—while upholding our high standards for food quality, cleanliness, and safety.
• Cook and prepare a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardized recipes
• Set up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment
• Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling food items
• Safely utilize a variety of utensils and kitchen equipment, including knives, ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, etc.
• Arrange, garnish, and portion food according to established guidelines
• Properly store food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures, including proper food safety and sanitation
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
