Salary Range: $54,000 - $81,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Muskegon that are seeking Bookkeeper / Office Managers. These companies are committed to building strong teams and are looking for professionals who can lead initiatives effectively. Key Responsibilities

• Manages accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and collections.
• Processes payroll and maintains related tax filings and compliance.
• Reconciles bank statements and general ledger accounts monthly.
• Oversees general office administration, including supplies, vendor relations, and mail.
• Supports HR functions, such as onboarding new employees and maintaining personnel records.
• Prepares financial reports and assists with budgeting.
• Maintains organized physical and digital filing systems for all financial and office documents.

Recommended Qualifications

• 3-5 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in QuickBooks Desktop and Excel.
• Demonstrated experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Experience with general office administration and support.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
• Familiarity with inventory management principles and cost accounting in manufacturing
• Proficiency in advanced Excel functions (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, macros)
• Experience with payroll processing and related compliance for a manufacturing workforce
• Knowledge of manufacturing-specific software or industry best practices for office administration
