Charge Nurse (RN) - ICU Job Type: Full Time | Days $15,000 Sign‑On Bonus for Day Shift with a 2-year commitment Schedule: 3x12s, Days (7a‑7p). Holidays and Weekends Required. More about our team Join our 12‑bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU) staffed by RNs and CNAs, operating with a 1:2 nurse‑to‑patient ratio. Telehealth intensivists provide immediate support, and we manage a diverse range of diagnoses including respiratory failure, cardio‑pulmonary disease, sepsis, and diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA). Responsibilities include comprehensive patient assessments, administering specialized treatments, monitoring critical conditions, and ensuring optimal patient outcomes. How You’ll Contribute A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role: Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record Completes and revises the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient Performs timely and accurate QI assessments Why join us Comprehensive Benefits: Multiple levels of medical, dental, and vision coverage – with plans starting at just $10 per pay period. Health and Fitness Center ( What We’re Looking For Applicants must have a current North Carolina or compact state Registered Nurse license and an associate’s degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include: American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire. American Heart Association ACLS and PALS certifications required within six months of hire. One year of experience preferred. Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
