Legal Intake Specialist

Role Description The Legal Intake Specialist will be the first point of contact for the law firm, responsible for evaluating potential clients and case viability. They gather essential information, manage initial paperwork, and ensure a positive client experience while increasing caseloads. The position is full-time, in-person in Charlotte. Responsibilities Initial Communication: Answering phone calls, emails, and online inquiries from potential clients in a friendly, positive manner. Case Assessment: Evaluating leads to determine if they are in line with the firm's practice and expertise. Data Management: Accurately entering client information into the case management system. Client Communication: Acting as a liaison to answer questions and provide updates; communicating and collaborating well with co-workers. Other duties as assigned. Must be organized and have great attention to detail. Skills and Requirements Active Listening & Empathy: Connecting with potential clients regarding their legal issues. Communication Skills: Clearly explaining legal procedures and gathering information. Organization: Managing multiple inquiries and ensuring data accuracy. Legal Knowledge: Familiarity with legal terminology and, in some cases, specific practice areas. Prior experience: Law firm experience is highly desirable. #J-18808-Ljbffr
