Exciting Opportunity for an Operating Room RN!


Join a dynamic team in a fast-paced Operating Room environment where your skills in cardiovascular and general surgery will shine! We are looking for an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to bring their expertise to our surgical team.

Job Description:


- Shift Type: 3x12 - Days (06:45 to 19:15)
- Weekend Requirement: Alternating weekends and on-call duty
- Orientation: Every other week on Fridays
- Patient Care Ratio: Average daily census of 22 cases
- Experience Required:
- 2 years of RN experience
- 1 year in specialty (CV and general surgery)


- Certifications:
- BLS Certification required

- Skills Required:
- Proficient in circulating and scrubbing
- Cardiac and General Surgery
- Vascular and Thoracic procedures
- Robotics including gynecologic, colorectal, and hernias
- Proficient in vein harvesting and radial artery harvesting
- Experience with a variety of surgical procedures:
- Vascular (Aortic surgeries, embolectomies)
- Ortho (arthroscopies, total joints)
- General (colorectal, laparoscopic, whipples)
- ENT (tracheostomies, laryngectomies)
- Urology (cystectomies, nephrectomies)
- GYN (hysterectomies)


- Call Details:
- 1 day of call per week
- 1-2 weekends every 4-5 weeks (spread out)


- License Requirements:
- WV/Compact RN License required (pending license accepted for submission)


- Submission Requirements:
- CV and General Surgery experience
- References from minimum 2 managers/charge nurses (within past 2 years)
- RN Licensure verification
- Driver's License and SSN included in the submission
