Receptionist

Be part of something new. As we launch our nursing school, we're searching for a receptionist who's excited to help build a student-centered campus from the ground up. You'll be the hub of daily activity, supporting students, coordinating with faculty, and creating a smooth, professional experience for everyone who walks through our doors.

In this role you will:

• Greet faculty, students and visitors; and act as the primary source for general inquiries
• Answer phone calls and transfer calls to appropriate individuals
• Perform office duties such as handling of incoming and outgoing mail, entering data into systems, reports, spreadsheets, making copies, etc.
• Schedule conference room meetings for the team and maintain team calendars
• Disseminate routine communications such as memos, notices and emails
• Create and maintain files and filing systems
• Ensure office cleanliness
• Assist with other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred
• 1+ year of clerical, administrative, or customer service experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot standard office equipment (e.g., printers, copiers, fax machines)
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills
• Reliable and punctual with flexibility in scheduling, as needed

Preferred qualifications for this position:

• Bachelor's degree
• Experience working in a front desk, reception, or higher education environment
• Familiarity with scheduling systems
• Experience handling confidential or sensitive information
