This full-time contract role runs from September 1, 2026, through January 15, 2027, offering the chance to partner with dedicated educators and empower students as they pursue their academic and functional goals.

This role is perfect for experienced Occupational Therapists who are ready to make a real difference within a supportive school environment. You’ll collaborate with faculty, participate in IEP meetings, and provide crucial services onsite, helping students thrive during a pivotal stage of their education.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Occupational Therapist license in Illinois
• Previous experience delivering OT services within a school setting
• Proficiency working with high school-aged students
• Strong communication and organizational skills for effective collaboration and documentation
• Candidates for this position must be OTs (COTAs are not eligible)
• Comfortable working onsite for the duration of the contract

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate student needs and develop targeted treatment plans in collaboration with teachers and support staff
• Deliver direct and consultative OT services tailored to students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation of assessments, interventions, and progress
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to advocate for student needs and share insights
• Guide educators and families on strategies to improve student participation and independence in daily school activities
