Ensure operation and appearance of machinery, equipment and facilities by completing preventative maintenance, inspections, setups, repairs and upgrades following diagrams, sketches, manuals, manufacture's instructions, engineering instructions and/or verbal instruction. Inspect, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions in motors, control panels, PLCs, conveyors, and machinery Install wiring, lighting, breakers, transformers, and electrical components Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical systems Test electrical systems using meters, diagnostic tools, and testing equipment Ensure compliance with electrical codes, OSHA regulations, and company safety standards Respond to emergency breakdowns and equipment failures Maintain maintenance logs, repair records, and work orders Collaborate with maintenance technicians, engineers, and production staff Fabricate repair parts utilizing machine shop equipment and fabrication tools Complete all functions necessary to maintain organized parts & supplies inventories Understand and follow procedures and work instructions applicable to the job function Report projects needing attention; fill out work orders, PM forms, and charts as needed. Communicate needs to supervision Trains and transfers knowledge as needed Maintains technical knowledge as required via internal and external means Must have experience performing normal maintenance repairs on factory equipment and have the mechanical ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, make necessary repairs, dismantle and reassemble most equipment used in the facility Use Personal Protective Equipment as required and follow all safety rules as outlined in Right to Know information and Company safety policies Perform related duties, as needed by supervision Requirements Must be able to work regular shift and overtime as needed. Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs. Must have reading, writing and math skills in English and be able to communicate and work with peers/management. Must be able to work in different environment temperatures and outdoor conditions. Must be able to read, plan work from instructions, sketches and prints. Must be able to climb ladders and work at various heights. Must be capable of following verbal and written instructions. Must be able to pass respirator medical evaluation / fit test and work wearing a respirator. Must have a range of motion for lifting, twisting, bending, turning, stooping, reaching and kneeling. Must be able to work as part of a team and be exposed to dust & product smells. Must be able to pass any required testing and be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship. Qualifications Must have completed an Electrician Apprentice Program or equivalent experience Basic knowledge of electrical troubleshooting, relay logic, industrial controls, electronics, and PLCs Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, ladder logic, and engineering drawings Ability to use measuring devices (multimeter, oscilloscope, megohmmeter, etc.) Strong attendance and safety awareness Ability to work in confined spaces, climb ladders, and work at heights Must be able to wear a respirator Equal Opportunity Employer statements and safety notes maintained as part of the employer branding content.
