About the job Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Travel Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Acute Care / NICU Support San Bernardino, California Contract Duration: 13 Weeks (March 4, 2026 – June 3, 2026) Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,169.75 Schedule: Day Shift | 5x8 Hours (8:00 AM Start) Position Overview Trinity Healthcare Talent Services is seeking a Travel Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for an assignment at St. Bernardine Medical Center . This role primarily focuses on adult inpatient acute care , with additional exposure to NICU feeding cases , offering a diverse and clinically rich experience. Facility Information Facility: St. Bernardine Medical Center Department: Speech Therapy Charting System: Cerner Key Responsibilities Perform speech, language, and swallowing evaluations Conduct Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBSS) Provide treatment for dysphagia and communication disorders Work with adult acute care patients Support NICU patients with feeding/swallowing needs Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans Maintain accurate clinical documentation Clinical Highlights Mixed Caseload: Adult Acute + NICU feeding Strong exposure to swallow studies & critical care cases Required Qualifications Active California SLP License BLS Certification (AHA required) Experience in Modified Video Swallow Studies (MBSS) – REQUIRED Acute care experience preferred Schedule: 5x8 Day Shifts Start Time: 8:00 AM Hours: 40 hours/week Additional Requirements Crisis protocol compliance required Why Consider This Assignment Strong pay for CA SLP ($2.1K/week) Mix of acute care + NICU experience Opportunity to build advanced swallowing skills Work in a well-established hospital setting #J-18808-Ljbffr Trinity Healthcare Talent Services, LLC
