Description

• Conduct thorough evaluations for patients across diverse age groups, utilizing standardized assessments and observational methods.
• Craft individualized treatment plans that target both immediate and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing goals.
• Deliver focused, one-on-one speech therapy interventions spanning areas of communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing.
• Engage collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team of therapists, nursing staff, physicians, caregivers, and family members to develop integrated care plans.
• Provide educational support for patients and families to enhance development and progress outside the therapy setting.
• Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions, ensuring seamless continuity of care.
• Maintain precise and timely documentation in adherence to state, federal, and organizational standards.
• Commit to continual growth by staying informed on industry advancements and collaborating with peers.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is required if not yet ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within the first month of employment.
