Accounts Payable Clerk - On-Site

We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented Part-Time Accounts Payable Clerk to join our client's team. In this role, you will support our finance department by managing day-to-day accounts payable operations. Your primary focus will be processing vendor invoices, verifying payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and helping ensure our vendors are paid accurately and on time.

salary: $24 - $26 per hour

work hours: 8 AM - 2 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

• Review, code, and enter vendor invoices into the accounting system with high accuracy.

• Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving reports (3-way matching).

• Route invoices to appropriate department heads for approval.

• Prepare weekly or bi-weekly payment runs via check, ACH, or wire transfers.

• Respond promptly to vendor inquiries regarding invoice status and payment timelines.

• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve billing discrepancies or missing documentation.

• Maintain clean, secure digital filing systems for vendor records, invoices, and receipts.

• Provide general administrative support to the accounting team during month-end close.
