About the Role
The Company is seeking a Head of Engineering to take on a pivotal role in the development of its AI-powered wealth platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end technology strategy, including the architecture and scaling of the platform, data systems, and AI capabilities. This hands-on position demands a leader who can operate at all levels, from writing code to making high-level architectural decisions, and who is adept at building and mentoring a high-performing engineering team. The Head of Engineering will also be instrumental in driving product velocity, improving system reliability, and partnering with the founders to define and execute the technical aspects of the product roadmap. Candidates for the Head of Engineering role at the company should have a proven track record in a high-ownership engineering leadership position, with a preference for those with experience in a startup or scale-up environment. Deep technical expertise in backend and platform architecture, data systems, and building reliable production systems is essential. While fintech experience is beneficial, a strong foundation in real-time and high-trust domains is crucial. The ideal candidate will have a strong judgment in balancing speed and correctness, a history of successful team building, and excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with product and business leadership.
