Key Responsibilities\n

• Develop and maintain a trusting and supportive rapport with each client to promote an effective therapeutic alliance.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to accurately diagnose mental health disorders, utilizing established diagnostic criteria and evidence-based practices.

• Create tailored, individualized treatment plans that address specific client needs and circumstances, regularly revising them based on client progress.

• Facilitate therapy sessions for individuals, couples, and families, using various therapeutic modalities to address complex relational and emotional issues.

• Implement ongoing assessments and evaluations to measure patient progress, adapting therapeutic strategies as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, to provide integrated care and refer clients to specialists when required.

• Engage in regular supervision meetings, case discussions, and training sessions to enhance your skills and stay current with industry best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with a diverse caseload, encompassing individuals, couples, and families facing a range of challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and substance use disorders. Your expertise will help clients develop coping strategies and pathways to healthier lifestyles, addressing not only mental health but also underlying relational dynamics.

Qualifications\n

• Current and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of New York.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited program.

• Demonstrated specialized training or extensive experience in addiction counseling, particularly regarding co-occurring disorders.

Compensation and Benefits\n
