Public Works Director or Deputy Director/City Engineer

The City of Port Townsend is recruiting to fill one vacancy in our Public Works Department at either the Director or Deputy Director level, depending on qualifications. Leading an engineering department in the small community of Port Townsend provides a great opportunity to use true engineering ingenuity, especially as it relates to non-motorized transportation, environmental sustainability, and infrastructure planning. Valid Washington Driver's License and maintain a driving record acceptable to the City's insurance carrier.Preferred qualificationsA Master's degree in a related field.Registration as a Professional Civil Engineer.
