Peer Recovery Specialist - SUD Program

Pay Rate: $25/hourCenturion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive services to the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services. We are currently seeking a Full-time Day Shift Substance Use Disorder Peer Recovery Specialist to join our team in the Hagerstown, MD region.Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Peer Recovery Specialist (PRS) employees support patients in their substance use and detoxification/ recovery process. They also lead recovery groups, build community and relationships.High School diploma or equivalentCertification as a Peer Recovery Support Specialist (PRSS) requiredOne year or more of experience working closely with patients and connecting them to resources or an equivalent combination of work and educationExperience working in corrections preferredMust be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLSAbility to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background checkWe offer excellent compensation and comprehensive benefits for our full-time team members including:Health, dental, vision, disability and life insurance401(k) with company matchGenerous paid time offPaid holidaysFlexible Spending AccountContinuing Education benefitsMuch more...#indmhm #J-18808-Ljbffr Centurion Health
