Licensed Insurance Account Manager

The Derek Stein Agency is growing, and we're looking for a Licensed Insurance Account Manager to join our Personal Lines team in Wolverine Lake, Michigan.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys solving problems, and takes pride in creating a seamless experience for clients. You'll support both new and existing personal lines accounts, work closely with our sales team, and serve as a trusted resource throughout the client relationship.

What You'll Bring

• Active Michigan Property & Casualty License is REQUIRED
• 2+ years of experience in personal lines account management, underwriting, or a related insurance client service role
• Experience working with carrier quoting platforms and agency management systems
• Strong knowledge of personal insurance products, including auto, homeowners, renters, and umbrella policies
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail
• Proficiency with multiple computer systems and software applications

What You'll Do

• Manage and service a portfolio of personal lines clients
• Process policy changes, endorsements, renewals, and billing inquiries
• Quote and rate insurance policies accurately and efficiently
• Partner with the sales team to support new business opportunities
• Build lasting client relationships through proactive communication and outstanding service
• Assess clients' evolving insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage solutions
• Contribute to client retention efforts by delivering a positive and professional customer experience
