Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients’ mental health to identify challenges and formulate effective treatment plans.
• Provide individual therapy sessions employing evidence-based techniques tailored to enhance personal growth and mental well-being.
• Establish and pursue therapeutic goals in partnership with clients, monitoring progress and making necessary adjustments to treatment approaches.
• Utilize teletherapy effectively to ensure accessibility for clients facing mobility or transportation issues, ensuring they receive the support they need.
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of client interactions and treatment plans in compliance with ethical standards.
• Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities to expand your clinical skills and remain abreast of the latest advancements in therapy practices.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Counseling, or a closely related field is required.
• A valid license to practice as a Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Maryland is required, or eligibility for licensure.
• Demonstrated experience in providing therapy to culturally diverse populations and navigating different perspectives related to mental health.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in outpatient therapy settings, particularly in the areas of family dynamics, trauma, and relationship counseling.
• Proficiency in teletherapy platforms and familiarity with digital tools that facilitate remote client engagement.
• Strong skills in documentation and use of electronic health record (EHR) systems to track and report client progress.

Compensation and Benefits

Inner Summit Counseling Services offers a competitive salary that falls within the range of USD 75,000 – 90,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications. Our benefits package includes:
