What You'll Do Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

As an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic, you will help maintain the performance, reliability, and safety of high-speed metal can manufacturing lines and related production equipment. Your mechanical skills will help ensure efficient production and consistent product quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate, service, maintain, overhaul, and monitor high-speed can manufacturing equipment and associated industrial machinery.
• Perform mechanical maintenance and repairs on production equipment during manufacturing operations.
• Troubleshoot mechanical systems, identify equipment issues, and perform repairs or modifications to minimize downtime.
• Complete preventive maintenance and routine equipment inspections to improve machinery reliability and extend equipment life.
• Inspect equipment, document findings, and address mechanical or operational issues according to established procedures.
• Perform quality checks and use precision measuring instruments to maintain equipment tolerances as tight as 0.0010 inch, where required.
• Support the production of high-quality, single-piece metal cans by maintaining equipment performance and production standards.
• Collaborate with maintenance personnel, production operators, and management to improve equipment reliability, workplace safety, product quality, and productivity.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives designed to reduce downtime, control costs, and improve manufacturing efficiency.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized, and productive work environment.
