Responsibilities
- Administer pediatric infusion therapies as ordered, including chemotherapy, monoclonal antibodies, blood products, enzyme replacement therapy, and gene therapy
- Monitor patients during infusions for adverse reactions; assess vitals, flow rates, and comfort; intervene per protocol
- Establish and maintain IV access; manage IVADs/ports and ensure device patency
- Prepare, dispense, and document medications; monitor for infusion-related complications
- Document care in the electronic medical record; communicate changes to the care team
- Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and nursing colleagues to ensure safe, timely therapy and patient safety
- Educate patients and families on infusion procedures, safety, and aftercare

Requirements
- NY State RN license required
- BLS certification required
- PALS or PEARS certification required
- APHON certification required
- Minimum of two years experience in pediatrics
- Ability to work in a pediatric infusion center environment and adapt to changing needs
