Responsibilities
- Care for adult patients in the observation unit, focusing on determining if patients require admission or can be treated and discharged home safely.
- Maintain care in a fast-paced environment with continuous provider coverage and high patient turnover.
- Monitor telemetry and respond to changes in patient status, coordinating with the care team.
- Assess, plan, implement, and document nursing care for both emergency observation patients and admitted boarding patients.
- Collaborate with physicians, discharge planning, and ancillary staff to support patient flow and safety.

Requirements
- Active RN license in New York (NY license only)
- Two (2) years of Med/Surg experience
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- NIHSS certification
- ACLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Telemetry competency
