Job Description

The Warehouse Receiving Clerk plays a vital role in retail distribution and e-commerce fulfillment environments by efficiently handling incoming goods and ensuring accurate inventory management. This position primarily supports day shift operations and involves coordinating receipt, inspection, documentation, and storage activities. The clerk operates conveyor systems and works closely with inventory supervisors and warehouse managers to maintain warehouse organization and accuracy.

Responsibilities

shift AM 6:00 am to 2:30 pm
Pay rate:20.00

• Receive and verify incoming goods against purchase orders and invoices
• Conduct inventory verification and maintain accurate stock records
• Enter data into inventory management systems promptly and accurately
• Prepare and manage documentation related to shipments and receipts
• Perform quality inspection to ensure product compliance and condition
• Coordinate proper storage and placement of goods within the warehouse
• Process outgoing shipments as required to maintain flow of materials
• Operate conveyor systems and other warehouse equipment safely
• Generate reports for inventory supervisors and warehouse managers

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years experience in warehouse operations
• Proficiency with inventory management systems and RF scanning technology
• Strong data entry and attention to detail skills
• Effective time management and communication abilities
• Basic math skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
