QA Automation Project Manager

Our QA team (3 people) ensures the quality of our projects (Web / mobile / Client/Server) through structured manual testing. A project to automate Web and mobile projects is now well underway: framework in place, functional tests in pre-production. We are looking for an experienced technical profile to take over this project, evolve it, and anchor it sustainably in the team's practices.

Join a small QA team within an independent publisher that has been equipping communities for 40 years. You will take over and grow our automation approach.

Missions:

• Piloting the automation project:
• Take over and appropriate the existing framework (Robot Framework, web application)
• Extend the coverage of tests: scope, prioritization, maintainability
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts (UI, API REST)
• Work with developers on the testability of the application
• Propose continuous improvements on the structure and robustness of the framework

• CI/CD integration:
• Ensure the proper functioning of tests in the pipeline, in collaboration with the DevOps team
• Set up and improve reporting and associated alerts

• Support to the QA team:
• Accompany testers in the increase of skills on automation
• Document the evolutions of the framework and good practices
• Contribute to manual tests on complex topics

Technical environment:

Web application Symfony / Angular - Active automation framework with existing tests (done on Robot Framework)

Soft Skills:

• Autonomy: able to take over an existing project and move it forward
• Practical sense / Insight: propose concrete improvements adapted to the context
• Team spirit: work under the supervision of the QA manager within an existing team
• Great rigor, concentration and organization
• Pedagogy: desire to share practices with a less technical team

Skills and know-how:

• Mastery of an automation framework (Robot Framework preferred, any serious equivalent accepted)
• Good knowledge of REST API tests (Postman or equivalent)
• Knowledge of databases: configuration and interrogation in the context of test environments (queries - procedures / Oracle – SQL server)
• At ease with code (Python, JS or other), without necessarily being a developer
• Ability to write technical IT documentation
• Competence in AI and technological vigilance
• Interest in AI tools applied to testing
• Ability to conduct active technological vigilance on QA practices and propose innovations to the team
