Accounts Payable Clerk

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to manage the company’s outgoing financial obligations. This role is responsible for processing invoices, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely payments to vendors. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, accuracy, and the ability to handle a high volume of transactions efficiently. Key Responsibilities Review, verify, and process vendor invoices for accuracy and proper approval Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documentation (3-way match) Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH, and wire payments Maintain and reconcile accounts payable ledger Ensure timely payments and resolve any discrepancies or billing issues Communicate with vendors regarding payment status and inquiries Maintain organized and accurate records of all accounts payable transactions Assist with month-end closing, including accrals and reporting Prepare 1099 forms and ensure compliance with applicable regulations Support audits by providing required documentation and reports Qualifications Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred 2+ years of accounts payable or general accounting experience Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or similar) Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data entry Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities Experience with high-volume invoice processing Knowledge of general accounting principles Strong problem-solving and communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively Benefits Competitive salary ($50,000 – $55,000) Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays Retirement plan options Opportunities for professional growth #J-18808-Ljbffr
