SUPERINTENDENT – Lead the Jobsite. Develop People. Deliver Excellence. THIS POSITION IS ALWAYS OPEN Great field leaders are worth knowing. Cornerstone accepts applications for experienced Superintendents year-round as we plan for current and future projects across Alaska. If you're interested in what could be next, even if the timing isn’t today, we’d like to connect. More than a job. An opportunity to lead projects that matter. At Cornerstone, we don't just build commercial construction projects; we build exceptional teams, trusted client relationships, and communities that last for generations. Since 1993, we’ve grown as a 100% Alaskan-owned company by delivering some of Alaska’s most complex commercial construction projects while investing in the people who make them possible. We’re looking for someone who wants to lead people, establish a culture of safety and accountability, solve complex construction challenges, and deliver projects that clients are proud to own and employees are proud to build. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy leading from the front, and believe great leadership is measured by the success of your team, we’d like to meet you. Why This Role Matters Superintendents are the foundation of every successful project. As the field leader, you establish the culture, pace, and expectations that drive every aspect of project execution. Your leadership directly influences safety, quality, productivity, schedule performance, client confidence, and the development of future field leaders. Every successful project starts with exceptional field leadership, and every exceptional Superintendent helps shape the future of our company. You’ll influence: Jobsite safety and operational excellence Construction quality and workmanship Project schedule and productivity Client satisfaction and long‑term relationships Development of Foremen and future Superintendents Cornerstone's reputation throughout Alaska Your leadership determines whether projects simply get completed or become projects we’re proud to stand behind. Review construction activities daily to maintain the highest standards of workmanship. Identify field conflicts early and develop practical solutions that minimize delays. Ensure successful project completion while protecting Cornerstone’s reputation for quality. Champion Safety Safety isn’t a program; it’s how we lead. Lead daily safety planning, toolbox talks, and pre‑task planning activities. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company policies, and project‑specific safety plans.
