Position Details: We are actively hiring 2 Direct Support Professionals / Home Care Aides to join our team! In this role, you will work as part of a collaborative 2-caregiver-to-1-client team, providing structured in-home support with personal hygiene care, life skills assistance, and companionship. * Key Qualifications: Experience supporting individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, implementing Positive Behavior Support Plans (PBSP), and utilizing de-escalation/safety techniques is highly preferred. * State Compliance: Position requires registration as a Home Care Aide (HCA) with the California Department of Social Services (CDSS). (We can assist qualified candidates through the state Live Scan and Guardian registration process). * Shift Schedule: * Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri: 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM * Wed: 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM Caregiver Pay Range $21 - $25 per hour Caregiver Benefits

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Help with light housekeeping and laundry
• Monitor and report changes in clients’ well-being or behavior
• Follow care plans and safety protocols
• Assist with medication reminders
• Provide transportation or accompany clients to appointments as needed
• Foster independence and promote social interaction

Qualifications

• Previous caregiver experience required
• Must register as a Home Care Aide with CDSS
• 18 years old and a High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of automobile insurance are required
• Ability to pass a live scan background check and drug screening
• CPR certification
• TB test or chest x-ray
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable attitude
