Workday Financial Consulting Analyst

Join Huron as a Digital Financial Consulting Analyst. This role focuses on financial accounting within complex client environments across multiple industries including Commercial, Higher Education, and Healthcare. Responsibilities Assist in implementing technology solutions, including performing technology assessments, business process mapping, data conversions, user testing, and client support with focus on financial accounting systems and workflows. Liaise with internal and external team members during project engagement, including presenting key takeaways, communicating project updates, and organizing overall project logistics. Conduct and participate in key stakeholder interviews with clients to gather qualitative data and information, and gain an understanding of institutional culture. Provide financial analysis and operational support to project teams in both Higher Education and Healthcare environments. Maintain clear documentation of financial structures, updates, and reporting standards. Requirements Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with ability to assess data quality and identify root causes. Ability to manage and manipulate financial accounting data across multiple systems. Strong written and verbal communication; ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Advanced or highly proficient in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs), PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office products (including Visio, Outlook). Will travel to client sites as required; frequency depends on project needs. Willingness to pursue and obtain Workday Financial Certification upon hire. U.S. work authorization is required. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required (Finance, Accounting, Business Administration majors preferred). Previous experience in Finance, Consulting, or related areas highly preferred. Compensation Base salary: $80,000. Eligible for Huron’s annual incentive compensation program, with a total estimated compensation range of $86,400 - $89,600.
