Scrum Master

An employer is seeking a Scrum Master to join their team in Austin, TX area. He or she will be joining the Firmware Engineering team for the organizations Video Conferencing group. This group was recently acquired by the client within the last few years, and the client is trying to streamline processes due to the acquisition. There are currently a few Scrum Masters on the team that are managing 16 - 17 teams and the client is looking to have 2-3 teams per Scrum Master, hence the need for this role. The Scrum Master will have experience with cross team collaboration and the ability to work on different teams/projects at a given time. For example, some of the teams support sustainability and escalation while others are in the release phase. He or she will have proven experience adapting to changes, handling work flows that are different from one another and working at a large enterprise/matrix environment. Hourly rate ranges from $40 - $45/hr depending on experience and feedback from the customer.

Required Skills & Experience

6 - 8 years of Scrum Master Experience


Experiencing managing teams/projects in a firmware, device, or video conferencing space


Cross team collaboration


Experience working with teams of 30 or more individuals


Nice to Have Skills & Experience

CSM or PMP Certification
