Job Title: Superintendent Location: Westchester County, NY Salary Range: $120,000 – $160,000 per year Industry: Commercial ConstructionAbout the Role We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Superintendent to oversee and manage daily operations on commercial construction sites. This role is critical to ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, excellent leadership skills, and a proven ability to coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field staff effectively.Key Responsibilities Lead and manage all on-site construction activities from start to finish. Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety standards. Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and vendors to maintain schedule and budget. Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks. Maintain daily logs, progress reports, and documentation. Resolve field issues promptly and effectively. Enforce safety protocols and ensure a clean, organized job site. Communicate regularly with stakeholders regarding project status and updates.Qualifications Minimum 7 years of experience in commercial construction, with at least 3 years in a Superintendent role. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite. OSHA certification preferred.
