supports the admissions process for new residents receiving Residential Treatment Services, coordinates with community referral providers, provides updates to program leaders, and maintains a database within the electronic health record. Main Responsibilities for

Admissions Coordinator

: Provides general information via phone and email to community referral providers about the services available, eligibility requirements, and bed availability for three programs. Provides specific information via phone and email to community referral providers about the process for submitting a referral via email or fax. Requests documentation via phone and email from community referral providers. Enters and tracks referrals in the electronic health record and spreadsheets. Confirms which insurance options, including medical assistance, are used by referrals. Determines eligibility of referrals and recommends referrals for additional evaluation. Discusses referrals being recommended for additional evaluation with the program supervisors and/or program directors. Completes the pre-admission process and gathers additional documentation for referrals being accepted for services. Updates community referral partners on the status of referrals. Admissions Coordinator

: Experience admitting patients, clients, or residents for services is required. Experience admitting patients, clients, or residents for behavioral health services is strongly preferred. Experience working with a variety of insurance options, including medical assistance, is required. Experience using an electronic health record, such as Credible, is required. Experience using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook are required. High attention to detail is required. Strong communication skills are required.
