In this role, you’ll oversee key accounting functions, lead critical close activities, ensure GAAP compliance, and support companywide financial strategy. If you enjoy optimizing systems (NetSuite lovers welcome!), collaborating across teams, and owning meaningful work from start to finish — this role is for you. American Barbell began building Gym Equipment in 1978 and our levels of manufacturing and quality have been apparent since day one. Our roots began an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for the biggest names in the global fitness industry. What You’ll Do Lead major components of monthly/quarterly/year-end close Ensure accurate financial reporting and GAAP compliance Assist in managing AP/AR oversight, reconciliations, cash flow activities, and 1099s Maintain and improve accounting systems, workflows, and SOPs Support audits, compliance, and ad-hoc financial reporting for leadership Serve as a key partner in driving efficiency, clarity, and operational excellence within the Accounting and Finance function What You Bring Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or equivalent combination of experience) 5+ years of full-cycle accounting experience Strong ERP experience (NetSuite preferred) & advanced Excel skills Ability to communicate clearly, manage multiple priorities, and think critically Benefits Offerings Medical Life Insurance Supplemental plans for – critical illness, accident, and disability Nevada Employee Savings Trust (NEST) for retirement savings Generous time off benefits – PTO and Holidays.
