Job Responsibilities

• Design Individualized Treatment Plans: Assess patients' specific needs and develop tailored therapy strategies to help them achieve their desired functional outcomes
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based methodologies to promote the development of motor skills, cognitive functions, and essential daily activities
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work hand-in-hand with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, medical professionals, and nursing staff to deliver well-rounded patient care
• Educate Patients and Caregivers: Provide guidance to patients and families on therapy practices to encourage continued progress beyond therapy sessions
• Track Progress and Adapt Treatment: Monitor clinical progress and adjust plans as necessary, ensuring that patients are on the right track

Educational Requirements

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized educational institution
• Commitment to ongoing education and potential postgraduate certifications supported by the organization

Necessary Certifications

• Current and valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is required
