Patients waiting to be admitted into the hospital will be under your supervision. This unit begins care in the Emergency Department until the bed is available. You will need to pass an EKG exam during the assignment. Enjoy working in a fast-paced medical/surgical telemetry environment. You will manage complex patient care with a ratio of 1:4-5. Support and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes. Demonstrate proficiency in the management and care of patients with diverse needs. You will float within the service line as needed to meet facility demands. Weekend shifts will be required every other weekend. All required competencies must be completed prior to the start date. Complete necessary training modules and assessments as directed. Maintain high standards of clinical practice and patient safety at all times. Regularly assess and adjust care plans based on patient needs and conditions. Ensure clear and effective communication with patients, families, and teammates. Foster a supportive and inclusive environment for patients and staff.
