Swift Therapy Center is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist (PT) to become an integral part of our team. This full-time role is based in our onsite rehabilitation facility located in Cypress, Florida. Work Environment

The rehabilitation facility is designed to support a collaborative and patient-centered approach to care. Our team consists of various healthcare professionals who work seamlessly together to enhance patient outcomes. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a balanced work-life environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients, including reviewing medical histories and performing specific assessments to establish individualized treatment plans based on the unique needs of each patient.

• Develop and implement treatment protocols that reflect the latest evidence-based practices while considering the patient's specific condition and goals.

• Recognize and document any changes in a patient's condition and adjust the treatment plan as necessary, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

• Accurately document all aspects of patient care activities, including initial evaluations, treatment goals, daily encounter notes, and discharge summaries to reflect the patient's progress.

• Engage in appropriate discharge planning and provide post-care instructions to patients to facilitate ongoing recovery.

• Participate in team meetings and case discussions, contributing insights from clinical observations to enhance team knowledge and patient care strategies.

• Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations governing physical therapy practice and ensure adherence to corporate policies related to clinical services.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this role is on patients in the orthopedic population, including those recovering from surgical procedures, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal conditions. As a PT, you will have the opportunity to directly impact the rehabilitation and functional recovery of diverse patient demographics, facilitating their return to active lifestyles and improving their quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required. A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.

• Current state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist is mandatory.

• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association is required.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in a physical therapy setting, particularly within orthopedic rehabilitation.

• Experience in developing and implementing tailored treatment plans and discharge strategies.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Compensation and Benefits
