Work Environment

This position is located in our outpatient office in Cypress, Florida, where you will work primarily onsite in a collaborative atmosphere that encourages professional growth and development. We emphasize a flexible work schedule, enabling you to choose your hours during our operational days of Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients recovering from various injuries, diseases, or surgeries within the outpatient setting.
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans utilizing a broad array of therapeutic methods, including exercises, stretching, hands-on techniques, and advanced equipment to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
• Maintain detailed documentation of patient treatments, responses, and progress, ensuring compliance with all documentation standards.
• Regularly reassess and modify therapeutic goals and treatment plans based on patient progress and changing needs.
• Assess the need for assistive devices and provide recommendations, as well as fitting patients for these devices to enhance self-care and mobility.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about treatment protocols and appropriate physical therapy practices to facilitate optimal recovery.
• Stay informed regarding the latest developments in physical therapy through ongoing education, professional networking, and participation in relevant organizations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will provide care to a broad spectrum of patients, including children and adults, with diverse medical backgrounds and therapeutic needs. The goal is to achieve full recovery and maximize each patient's independence in their daily activities. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required to ensure a solid foundational knowledge of physical rehabilitation practices.
• The candidate must have a current state licensure in Physical Therapy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective patient interaction and documentation.
• Proficiency in computer applications and word processing to support proper documentation and reporting.

Preferred Experience
