Registered Nurse - Cardiac Stepdown

Job Description

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse in Cardiac Stepdown provides specialized nursing care to patients recovering from cardiac procedures or experiencing cardiac-related conditions. They collaborate closely with physicians and healthcare teams to monitor patient progress and implement appropriate interventions.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients upon admission, including vital signs, medical history, and diagnostic test results.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in coordination with the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Continuously monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition.
• Educate patients and their families on post-discharge care and health management.
• Document patient care accurately and in compliance with healthcare regulations.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid State of New Hampshire RN license or Compact License.
• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Have a minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, with a focus on MS/Telemetry nursing preferred.
• Demonstrate excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
