Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and comprehensive medical history reviews
• Assist in evaluating and diagnosing surgical issues through the interpretation of imaging studies and lab results
• Work closely with surgeons to develop and implement patient-specific surgical treatment strategies
• Provide vital intraoperative support, which includes preparing surgical rooms and managing instrument hand-offs
• Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative care, including medication administration, wound management, discharge planning, and patient education

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a strong emphasis on surgical practices is highly preferred

Certifications Required

• Current, unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certification essential
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
