Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments during initial consultations, documenting mental, behavioral, and emotional health information accurately.

• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to the specific needs of clients, including individuals, couples, families, and groups.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, fostering open communication and therapeutic alliances.

• Monitor and evaluate client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on real-time feedback and emerging needs.

• Collaborate effectively with a range of healthcare professionals—including psychiatrists, social workers, and medical doctors—to coordinate care and optimize client outcomes.

• Assist in managing referrals to additional services or providers, ensuring a comprehensive support system for clients.

• Support family members and caregivers in understanding and managing their loved ones' mental health challenges.

• Identify risk factors and implement strategies to mitigate behaviors that could impede recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

At Grateful Growth Counseling Center, our client population includes individuals from diverse backgrounds dealing with issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, trauma, and substance use disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possession of a current and valid license as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.
\n
• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counselor Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Demonstrated experience as a mental health counselor, showcasing a strong understanding of various therapeutic modalities.

• Proficiency with electronic health record systems, such as AVATAR, to ensure accurate documentation and streamlined patient care.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with clients who face dual diagnoses, including co-occurring mental health and substance use issues.

• Familiarity with the best practices established by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

Compensation and Benefits\n
