Outside Business Development Representative

We are partnering with a financial firm in the real estate sector to find an Outside Business Development Representative for their Boston area office. This role will serve a pivotal role in developing brand presence and generating warm leads in the Massachusetts and surrounding New England markets. This is an excellent opportunity for a natural relationship-builder, with experience navigating the NE real estate market to grow, nurture and expand strategic partnerships, further establishing them as a dominant brand in real estate lending. Responsibilities Drive high quality prospects to lending team through outside business development activities. Appraise and maintain comprehensive notes on leads from initial calls until handoff. Expand new customer relationships and referral networks in the Massachusetts and surrounding New England markets. Participate actively in the local real estate and investment professional communities; coordinate and host presentations, meals, and networking events for investors and key stakeholders. Execute follow-up strategies with warm leads and recently closed deals to grow the referral network. Develop a brand presence within the community through social media, industry events, and client lunches. Requirements 3+ years in a high-volume sales/service environment. Existing knowledge of the Massachusetts and/or New Hampshire real estate markets required, lending and investment experience preferred. Proven ability to develop lasting relationships and connect with people in your professional network. Outstanding communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
