Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a meaningful impact supporting elementary students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist in a vibrant educational setting. This full-time opportunity begins August 11, 2026, and continues through May 26, 2027, providing you with the chance to build lasting relationships with students and collaborate with dedicated school staff.

You'll manage a caseload of approximately 65 elementary-aged students and have the flexibility to plan your own schedule while splitting time between two schools. Your expertise will help students achieve important communication milestones through a combination of therapy sessions and evaluations, enriching their day-to-day academic experiences.

Qualifications & Desired Background:

• Active Kansas SLP license required
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellow applications also considered
• Previous experience in a school-based setting supporting an elementary caseload is a plus
• Ability to plan, organize, and manage a dynamic schedule across multiple locations
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• SLPAs cannot be considered at this time

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct therapy services to elementary-aged students, tailored to individual needs
• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with educators and families
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and report findings in meetings or documentation
• Collaborate closely with school staff and families to promote optimal student outcomes
