During this internship, time is focused on internship long projects with other students and full-time, experienced teammates. Interns have the opportunity to network with other interns, teammates, and senior leaders. Truist interns sharpen the leadership, technical, and business skill they'll use for the rest of their careers. The internship program serves as a pipeline to our Truist full-time programs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Learn about banking, financial services, and the various divisions within the organization as assigned during the internship Gain analytical, technical, and decision-making skills through formal and informal learning opportunities Complete special projects or assignments that assist the department in its mission and help the intern learn more about the corporate environment Complete all prescribed training satisfactorily Network with senior leaders, experienced teammates, and other interns to develop lasting professional connections Receive performance feedback Qualifications Required Qualifications: TMCF participant attending Truist Ascent Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or other advanced degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field at an accredited college or university. Demonstrated strong academic performance Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and maintain professional composure Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products Graduating December 2027 - Spring 2029 Preferred Qualifications: Preferred interest in pursuing financial services as a career Demonstrated flexibility in managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously *All applications must have a TMCF Branded resume to be considered; TMCF participants will be considered without limitation* General Description of Available Benefits for Eligible Employees of Truist Financial Corporation: All regular teammates (not temporary or contingent workers) working 20 hours or more per week are eligible for benefits, though eligibility for specific benefits may be determined by the division of Truist offering the position.
