Brake Press Machine op

Are you a precision-driven fabricator who takes pride in turning raw metal into perfectly formed components? We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to set up and operate machinery directly from blueprints and mechanical drawings. In this active, hands-on role, you will load materials, use calipers and micrometers to verify tight tolerances, and occasionally perform manual grinding, drilling, or milling. If you have a sharp eye for measurement accuracy and are ready for a dynamic role that keeps you moving, we want to hear from you!

salary: $20 - $22 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 7 AM - 3:30 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

Machine Setup & Operation

• Load programs and set up necessary fixtures for production runs.

• Perform precise tool setup based on job specifications.

• Run programmed parts efficiently while monitoring machine performance.

• Execute machining and bending operations on a variety of materials, including aluminum, stainless steel, and steel components .

Quality Control & Inspection

• Verify bend accuracy and part tolerances throughout the production process.

• Ensure rigorous dimensional accuracy using standard measuring tools.

• Inspect finished parts directly against technical blueprints and engineering drawings to ensure zero-defect production.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• wearing steel toe shoes
• manual lifting up to 25lbs
• working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week
