About the Role
The Company is in search of a Global Head of Strategy, M&A, and Internal Consulting, a senior executive with a pivotal role in shaping and advancing the long-term corporate strategy. This highly visible leadership position is accountable for setting and executing the firm's enterprise strategy, leading the inorganic growth agenda, and overseeing the internal consulting function. The successful candidate will be at the center of the company's strategic decision-making, serving as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on matters of growth, portfolio optimization, transformation, and enterprise priorities. Key responsibilities include leading the firmwide strategic planning process, partnering with senior leadership, and delivering high-impact strategic initiatives. The role also involves leading the internal consulting organization, defining a clear consulting mandate, and driving strong economic discipline across the portfolio. Candidates for this role at the company should have a minimum of 15 years' experience in top-tier management consulting and/or corporate strategy leadership, with a strong preference for those with a background in a leading strategy consulting firm. Deep experience in financial services, banking, or related industries is essential, with exposure to asset management, asset servicing, data and analytics, fintech, and capital markets being highly valued. The role requires a proven ability to influence and partner effectively with C-suite executives, Boards, and senior stakeholders, as well as strong people leadership capabilities. The ideal candidate will be an exceptional communicator, with strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills, and the ability to operate effectively across a highly matrixed, global organization. A Bachelor's degree is required, with an advanced degree such as an MBA or CFA being strongly preferred.
