CNC Trumpf Operator

We are seeking a detail-oriented Trumpf Machine Operator to set up and run precision laser cutting and CNC punch press machinery for custom metal fabrication projects. The ideal candidate will have experience loading programs, selecting proper tooling, reading shop blueprints, and maintaining tight geometric tolerances. work hours: 6:30 AM - 3:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Set up, program, and operate Trumpf CNC laser cutting and punch press machinery according to project specifications.

• Load cutting programs, select and install proper tooling (nozzles, optics, punches, and dies), and adjust machine parameters as needed.

• Read and interpret shop blueprints, flat pattern layouts, and engineering drawings to ensure accurate fabrication.

• Conduct first-piece and in-process quality inspections using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges) to maintain tight tolerances.

• Perform routine machine maintenance, clean optics/lenses, monitor assist gas levels, and safely handle raw metal sheets using cranes or sheet lifters.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a non-temperature controlled environment
• manual lifting up to 50lbs
• standing for 8 hours at one time
