As a full-time member of our rehabilitation center, you will play a critical role in helping patients recover from injuries, surgeries, and chronic ailments. Work Environment

The rehabilitation center operates onsite, allowing for direct interaction between practitioners and patients. This full-time role requires a schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, affording a consistent routine that contributes to your work-life balance. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in diagnostics and treatment planning, utilizing our innovative equipment and therapeutic tools to ensure optimal patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical function, strength, and mobility.
• Implement advanced diagnostic methods to accurately determine the needs of each patient.
• Design and develop personalized therapy programs aimed at restoring physical function and reducing pain.
• Incorporate a variety of treatment modalities, including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, neuromuscular re-education, and specialized modalities tailored to individual patient requirements.
• Educate patients and their families on injury prevention strategies, rehabilitation techniques, and effective home exercise programs.
• Collaborate closely with a range of healthcare professionals, including physicians, case managers, and nursing staff, to optimize patient outcomes and ensure cohesive treatment plans.
• Maintain open communication with patients and caregivers throughout the rehabilitation process to enhance compliance and motivation.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our center serves a diverse patient demographic, from athletes recovering from sports injuries to seniors dealing with mobility challenges related to aging or chronic conditions. You will regularly engage with patients seeking to regain their independence and quality of life, making your role vital in their journey toward recovery. With a patient volume of approximately two individuals per hour, you will have the opportunity to focus on each case meaningfully.

Qualifications

• A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Nevada is required.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution is mandatory.
• Demonstrated ability to develop tailored treatment plans based on individual patient evaluations and progress.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse patient base and their families.
• Genuine passion for helping patients realize their potential for recovery and wellness.
• Competence to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a dedicated healthcare team.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of professional experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is strongly preferred, providing a deep understanding of musculoskeletal disorders.
• Background in working with multi-disciplinary teams to enhance patient rehabilitation outcomes.
• Familiarity with current physical therapy methodologies and advancements in patient care practices.

Compensation and Benefits
