Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | 36 or 48 hour weeks available | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit serving general medical diagnosis patients as well as gastrointestinal, urological, and gynecological surgical patients
• Manage a patient assignment within a 1:5–6 staffing ratio on nights, with potential flex to 8 patients with LPN support
• Float to other Medical Surgical units based on census and staffing needs, typically approximately once per week
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including RNs, LPNs, and Techs across units
• Work every other weekend and participate in holiday coverage as required

Required Qualifications

• Active Michigan RN License (pending license accepted with confirmed ETA)
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (pending accepted with confirmed willingness to obtain)
• Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Ability to float to other Medical Surgical units as needed
• Must be fully available for the first two weeks of assignment
• Supervisor-level references required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 2 or more years of Medical Surgical experience
• Experience caring for orthopedic, neurovascular, cardiopulmonary, or oncology patient populations
• Familiarity working in a high-acuity, multi-specialty Med Surg environment
