OverviewIn this position, you will work closely with customers to help define geospatial-centric solutions and implementation of those solutions. You will solve complex geospatial problems by evaluating and translating the customer's business goals, objectives, and strategies.The contributions you make will support our Defense and Intel customers across many industries. The work you do will enable customers to make meaningful decisions by leveraging location intelligence.The teams you will work with are collaborative and forward leaning. ResponsibilitiesWork closely with customers and partners to identify, design, and certify key GIS workflows for the ArcGIS platformProvide platform configuration guidance and best practices to customers regarding innovative solutions using Esri technology and content to help them make better decisionsIdentify the value of location within customer workflows and drive substantial return on their investment in Esri's enterprise platform and servicesRecommend relevant strategies, architectures, and solutions and work with customers to prepare implementation and migration strategiesPresent complex GIS technical demonstrations to various levels of staff in a diverse range of customer organizationsCollaborate with customer IT organizations to align their technical objectives and business goals with Esri's technology enterpriseRequirements5+ years of professional experience in a similar position, supporting similar responsibilitiesProfessional experience designing, implementing, and/or administrating enterprise GIS solutions/systems that leverage the ArcGIS platform (Desktop, Server, and Online)Proven experience leveraging Esri's software capabilities including mapping, field operations, spatial analysis and data science, 3D visualization and analytics, data management, and developer APIsPro-actively craft and propose solutions that clarify how GIS brings business value to address critical business challenges faced by customers, specifically in the Intelligence domainProven experience with GIS workflow automation patternsAbility to clearly communicate technical ideas, whether to other technical peers or non-technical peers, project managers, and/or customersExceptional interpersonal, written/verbal communication, multi-tasking, and presentation skillsUS citizenship with Active or Current (within 2 years of active) Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibilityBachelor's degree in geography, computer science, mathematics, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), or STEM related fieldRecommended QualificationsMaster's degree in geography, computer science, mathematics, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), or STEM related fieldProgramming and scripting experience with PythonDomain experience around Defense and Intelligence content workflowsCompTIA Security + certificationExperience with current technology implementation patterns, including service-oriented and cloud computing architectureUnderstanding of IT integration concepts such as databases, web services, webhooks, mobile devices configurations, web browsers, IT system architecture concepts#LI-SS2#LI-OnsiteTotal RewardsEsri’s competitive total rewards strategy includes industry-leading health and welfare benefits: medical, dental, vision, basic and supplemental life insurance for employees (and their families), 401(k) and profit-sharing programs, minimum accrual of 80 hours of vacation leave, twelve paid holidays throughout the calendar year, and opportunities for personal and professional growth. Base salary is one component of our total rewards strategy.
