Production Manager

Seeking a Production Manager with experience in commercial millwork, architectural woodwork, cabinetry, or custom manufacturing to oversee production planning, quality, and shop operations.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily production operations, including scheduling, planning, and workflow coordination to ensure projects are completed on time.
• Review engineering and shop drawings for accuracy and manufacturability.
• Oversee quality assurance throughout the production process to maintain high workmanship standards.
• Lead, train, supervise, and evaluate production staff while maintaining accountability and productivity.
• Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, finishing, and installation teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Oversee preventive maintenance of production equipment and assist with maintenance activities as needed.
• Conduct safety meetings and ensure compliance with workplace safety standards.
• Monitor production performance and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Production Manager or similar leadership role in commercial millwork, architectural woodwork, cabinetry, furniture manufacturing, or a related woodworking environment.
• Strong production planning, scheduling, and workflow management experience.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering and shop drawings.
• Experience leading, training, and managing production teams.
• Knowledge of quality assurance processes and continuous improvement practices.
• Familiarity with woodworking machinery, equipment maintenance, and manufacturing operations.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to workplace safety and operational excellence.
