Corporate Event Marketing Manager (Product Launches, Cvent & Budget Oversight)

Location: San Diego, CA (100% Onsite )

Duration: 12-Month Contract

Pay Rate: $63/hr on W2 (40 hours/week)

Shift – 1st Shift

Role Overview

Hiring a high-level Staff Marketing Event Specialist to independently plan, develop, and execute high-impact corporate events, trade shows, and product demonstrations.

Key Responsibilities

Event Execution

Lead end-to-end production of major events with minimal direction.
Serve as the main contact for internal project stakeholders.
Collaborate cross-functionally with global offices and external agencies.
Manage onsite logistics and adapt quickly to changing event conditions.

Vendor & Logistics

Sourcing, negotiating, and contracting venues and event vendors.
Direct complex audio-visual (AV), lighting, and staging setups.
Oversee event shipping, product experiences, and physical setups.

Budget & Operations

Manage all financial tracking, budgets, invoicing, and PO creation.
Utilise event automation tools like Cvent and Airtable.

Requirements

Proficient with Cvent , Airtable , Google Suite, and MS Office.
Advanced technical knowledge of corporate AV and stage production.
Flexibility to travel, including weekends and holidays.
Must pass a background check.
